Wellman's Lawn Care

About Wellman's Lawn Care

Late August in Springfield smells like cut grass and fair week. Wellman's Lawn Care spends those long evenings mowing and trimming while the light goes gold over the old brick of Sixth Street, edging the walks tight so every yard reads as finished from the curb. Fall brings the leaf work, bag after bag off the lawns near Washington Park, until the ground is bare and ready. Then the season flips: plow blades down, sidewalks cleared, ice knocked back on driveways and lots before anyone has to guess at the footing. It is plain work, done in order, and the result speaks in a swept walk and a lawn holding its line.
