Plummer Lawn Care Service

About Plummer Lawn Care Service

North of town the Sangamon takes its slow curves through bottom timber, and mist off the water hangs over Springfield lawns until the sun gets up. Plummer Lawn Care Service starts in that hour — mowing, trimming out around trees and posts, defining the line where turf meets bed, and blowing every walk clean before moving on. This is deep black prairie soil, which grows grass eagerly in May and asks for patience through the dry weeks of July. Fall means leaf work under the big oaks on the older streets near Washington Park, load after load, until the lawn shows through again. A yard handled the same way every week never needs rescuing.
