About MowingMiracles LLC

Springfield keeps its summers long and its evenings soft, the light off Lake Springfield holding on well past supper. MowingMiracles LLC spends those months in the city's yards — weekly mowing, string trimming, crisp edges along walks and drives, and cleanup so nothing gets tracked indoors. Capital-city lawns run to bluegrass and fescue that sulk in August heat, so the cut goes a little higher and the mower changes direction each visit to keep the turf standing up. There is a plain pleasure in the striping when the sun drops behind the neighborhood and the whole lawn reads like one smooth sheet. Come autumn the old street maples let go all at once, and that gets cleared too.
