About Blakley Lawns Inc

June mornings in Springfield come with dew heavy enough to soak your boots by the second yard, and across Washington Park the carillon is already running its scales over the treetops. Blakley Lawns Inc mows through that green stretch of the year, cutting, trimming, edging and blowing the clippings back off the walks until a lawn sits crisp against its own borders. Grass grows hard here on black prairie soil and a warm rain, and keeping up with it is honest arithmetic: the right height, the right day, a sharp blade. The pleasure is in the finish, the straight line where turf meets concrete and the striping that catches the low evening light. Springfield yards look their best when someone has been paying attention all summer, and that is the whole job.
