About American Patriot Tree Services

Down in the Illinois River bottoms near Spring Lake the soil turns to sand, the water table sits close, and cottonwoods shoot up faster than anything has a right to. That speed is the trouble — big soft wood, weak crotches, and a heron-quiet afternoon that becomes a limb through a porch roof without any warning. American Patriot Tree Services trims and prunes those fast growers back to something the wind can live with, and removes the ones already hollowed at the heart. When a storm walks up the river valley and leaves a lane buried, the crew clears it, chips it, and smooths the sandy ground back down. Backwater country asks a great deal of its trees, and there is pride in leaving a yard open to the breeze off the water with not a branch left in the grass.
