About Curt Peterson Landscaping

Henderson Creek keeps a ribbon of timber through the Knox County squares, and the little village of Henderson sits in that green with Galesburg's water tower just over the fields. Curt Peterson Landscaping mows and tends the lawns here, cutting on a set rhythm, trimming around trees and fence posts, running the edge along the walks, and hauling the season's leavings away. In high summer the prairie heat leans on the grass all afternoon, so yards get cut in the cool part of the day, when the light is long and the creek timber throws shade to the road. The result is simple and worth doing: an even lawn, a crisp edge, a yard that looks finished. When fall strips the grove, those same yards get carried through to bare ground.
