Some of the older blocks in South Moline still show brick where the asphalt has worn thin, and the yards behind their deep front walks are plain squares of grass that ask only to be cut properly. Old School Lawn Care does exactly that: mowing, trimming, edging, and hauling off the clippings and leaves, in that order, none of it skipped. There is no trick to a good lawn, only cutting it often, cutting it even, finishing the edges and cleaning up after yourself. Mid-May here, block after block, is evidence enough that the plain method works. The name is the method, and the method is all of it.
