Grass Kings

About Grass Kings

Sonora is a Hancock County township out in western Illinois, farm country where the land begins to lean toward the Mississippi. In June, grass across that rich ground grows thick and quick, and a lawn left a week too long shows it. Grass Kings carries a name that sets a high bar, and the work aims to match it: lawns cut to an even height, edges finished, the whole yard brought to order. Long summer days there end with the horizon going pink over the fields. A lawn tended by Grass Kings in Sonora looks right at home under that sky.
