Akins Lawn Care

About Akins Lawn Care

Shiloh Valley holds a long easy bowl of ground east of Belleville, and the village has filled it with streets whose lawns all start out the same and never stay that way. Akins Lawn Care mows, trims and edges through the growing months, then turns to the plow when Metro East winter does what it does — an inch of wet snow overnight and a hard freeze right behind it. Getting a driveway opened before the first alarm goes off is its own quiet accomplishment, done in the dark and noticed at daylight. And in June, when the humidity settles in the valley and the grass will not stop, a striped, edged yard is the proper answer to it. The route covers Shiloh, O'Fallon, Belleville and the towns around them.
