About Elite Lawn Care

Old Route 66 still runs through Sherman, a two-lane memory alongside the interstate, and late August leans on it hard. Elite Lawn Care works the village and the ground around it — mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanup, then plowing and salting once the Sangamon County wind swings north. By then the corn stands tall enough to hide the horizon, and the yards in town go a shade deeper green after every thunderstorm. A cut that follows a lot's own lines, edges tight against the drive: that is the entire point of the visit. When the year turns, the same attention shows up as bare pavement at six in the morning.
