About Eloe Landscapes Garden & Home

Lake Shelbyville turns pewter in January, and the wind that crosses all that open water arrives in town with nothing left to slow it. Eloe Landscapes Garden & Home answers that wind with a blade and a shovel — driveways opened, walks scraped down to the concrete, salt laid where the ice wants to hold. Storms here tend to come overnight, so the work happens under headlights, one drive at a time, while the dam road sits empty. By the time the first coffee is poured on Main Street, the way out is already black pavement. Winter asks a great deal of a small town, and this is one of the ways it gets answered.
