Majestic Asphalt & Snow Services

About Majestic Asphalt & Snow Services

A winter storm crossing central Illinois announces itself hours ahead — the wind swings around, the sky goes the color of an old nickel, and the ditches begin to smoke. Majestic Asphalt & Snow Services runs the snow work through Sharon Township and the country roads that feed it: plowing lots and drives, clearing walkways, spreading salt and ice control before the pack can set. Blacktop cleared early takes the next inch far easier than blacktop that has been driven over, so the passes start while everyone else is still watching radar. By the time doors open in the morning, the parking spaces are right where they belong. The hour worth staying up for is the one after the last pass, headlights thrown across a bare lot with the storm still going over the top of it.
