About Barker Trucking and Excavating, INC

At noon in August, the gravel roads around Seminary throw up a fine pale dust behind every passing truck, and the fields on either side stand tall and motionless in the heat. Barker Trucking and Excavating, INC is a trucking and excavating business, and alongside that heavier work it takes on lawn care in Seminary, mowing grass that the summer sun keeps pushing upward. Country yards around here often sit wide open to the road, so a fresh cut shows from the lane and tells anyone driving by that the place is cared for. When the dust settles and the afternoon shadows begin to stretch, a mown lawn lies cool and green against the parched gold of late summer. It is honest work in a place where the ground itself is always the main story.
