About Scott's Tree & Outdoor Services

West of Champaign the prairie lies so level that a windbreak counts as scenery, and a lawn out here has to hold its own against black dirt, full sun and a wind with nothing to stop it. Scott's Tree & Outdoor Services keeps them holding — mowing on a set turn, trimming out the fence lines and mailbox posts, edging the walk until the curve of it shows again. August evenings come on loud with katydids, and a yard cut that afternoon looks like it was pressed flat with an iron. Clippings get cleared off the drive instead of left to bleach on the concrete. When October puts the yard ankle-deep, the leaf work and the fall cleanup take it back down to green.
