D and G Landscaping and Snow Removal

About D and G Landscaping and Snow Removal

Out here the wind has a full mile of open field to gather speed, so a February storm does not simply fall, it travels, and by four in the morning it has stacked a drift along the lee of every windbreak. D and G Landscaping and Snow Removal is out in that, plowing drives and lanes, shoveling walks, spreading salt on the slick patches, cutting a way clear before the school bus makes its round. When the thaw arrives the same work turns green again: spring cleanup, then mowing, trimming and edging on a steady turn all summer. Nobody sees the four in the morning part of it. They see a drive that is open and a lawn that holds its shape.
