About Robertson snow removal

Out where the Kaskaskia is still just a ditch through black dirt, snow doesn't so much fall as travel. A Sadorus wind can close a drive twice in one night, filling in behind you before the taillights are out of sight. Robertson snow removal plows the village and the farm places around it — drives and lots opened to the ground, turnarounds cut wide, walks shoveled, salt at the doors and the steps. The trick on this prairie is where the snow goes, not just where it leaves, so the banks get set to keep the next blow from packing right back in. Coming out of Sadorus Grove at first light to a lane that is still open is the job done right.
