About K.M.E. llc

Past the edge of Rushville the roads run straight on the section lines, and once the corn is off there is nothing to keep a west wind from moving snow sideways across them. Drifts build at the fencerows and lay themselves down again over every farm lane and driveway between here and the county line. K.M.E. llc plows that kind of snow — lanes and drives opened up, lots pushed back, walkways cleared, salt where a slick spot will not quit. Some nights the work is a storm; some nights it is the storm and then the wind behind it, which is the harder half. Either way the aim is simple: the truck gets out in the morning, and so does everybody else.
