About Garden roses landscaping

Rose is the sort of Illinois address that doesn't announce itself — open country, a wide sky, light crossing the ground all day with nothing to break it. Garden roses landscaping tends the lawns and plantings out here: mowing on a steady round, trimming and edging so the borders read sharp, bed work and mulch, shrub shaping, and cleanups when spring opens and again when the year closes. Grass in this country comes on in bursts after rain and then sulks through the dry weeks, so the schedule bends to what the season is actually doing. There is real pleasure in a level, green lawn set against all that open ground. It looks like somebody chose it.
