About Buss Landscaping

Fog lifts off the Rock River most mornings in Roscoe, and by the time it burns clear there are lawns waiting to be cut. Buss Landscaping works the valley in both of its moods — mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, then plowing and salting driveways once the river runs black between white banks. There is a plain pleasure in a lawn whose edge follows the walk exactly, and in a drive scraped down to pavement before the coffee has gone cold. Winter comes at this stretch of Winnebago County from the northwest with nothing standing in its way, so the trucks roll early and come back late. Same ground, different work, all the way around the calendar.
