Spring Green

About Spring Green

Green comes back to northern Illinois all at once — one warm week in late April and every yard from Bell School Road to the river changes color on the same day. Spring Green works Rockford lawns through that turn and the long season that follows, mowing on rhythm, trimming close, keeping a property tidy from the first flush to the final leaf. Turf here has to take a wet spring, a humid July and a dry August, which makes steady attention the whole trick. A lawn cut well looks calm, and calm is the right word for it. Nothing dramatic, just a place that feels looked after.
