Up at the north end, where the Rock River spills over the Rockton dam, the village yards are small and tidy and full of corners a mower cannot reach. Henry's lawn care handles them — mowing, hand-trimming along fences and foundations, edging the walks, and cleaning up in spring and fall — across Rockford, Roscoe and Rockton. Evening is a fine hour for it up here, with light on the water and the day's mowers gone quiet. A well-kept yard is a kind of courtesy to the street it sits on. That alone is reason enough to do it carefully.
