About Green Acres Lawn Care & Landscaping

West of the city limits a subdivision ends at a fence line and corn takes over, and on a June evening you can smell cut hay from a mile off. Green Acres Lawn Care & Landscaping mows those edge-of-town lots and Rockford's in-town yards alike, trimming and edging so the boundary between mown grass and everything else stays sharp. Spring cleanup opens the beds; fall cleanup carries off the leaves and the last clippings before the ground freezes hard. Grass out here grows in the same black prairie soil that made this county farmland, and it grows accordingly. Keeping up with it is a matter of showing up on the day, every time.
