About G & O Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance

West of the river, where Kent Creek slides under the brick streets and the neighborhoods run in long straight blocks, the yards are small, square and particular about their edges. G & O Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance keeps those blocks in order — mowing on a set rhythm, trimming close to fence lines and foundations, cutting the beds back at the turn of the season, and gathering the leaves the maples drop all at once in October. Rockford summers arrive humid and fast; grass here can put on an inch in two warm days, and the only answer is showing up again. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass of an evening, when the light goes gold over the rooftops and the lines lie straight all the way to the alley. That is the result they are after — a block that looks like somebody is paying attention.
