The honey locusts along Harlem Road turn gold all at once in October and let go of their small leaves on the same afternoon. Fred and Sons lawn care and snow plowing handles that stretch and the seasons on either side of it around Loves Park, Machesney Park and Rockford — mowing, trimming, edging, spring and fall cleanups, then plowing driveways and lots and treating ice once the cold digs in.
