No street in Riverside runs straight for long; the village bends its roads around the parks and the old trees, and every lawn along them ends up its own odd shape. Division 32 Landscape Architecture mows to those shapes, following the curve instead of fighting it, trimming close around trunks and fence posts and cutting a crisp edge where turf meets walk. In the heat of July the height comes up a notch so the grass shades its own roots and holds color through a dry week. Clippings are cleared off the pavement before the crew leaves, because half of what anyone sees is the sidewalk. By evening the whole curving block reads as one continuous green.
