About Webb Weather Services

Snow work starts two days before it snows — watching a system climb the map, deciding when the trucks roll, loading salt while the sky over Rich Township is still perfectly clear. Webb Weather Services keeps that watch and then keeps the appointment: driveways and lots plowed open, walks and steps cleared, ice control laid down where meltwater will run and refreeze overnight. Out on this open south-suburban ground a storm does not sneak up on anybody, but it does arrive all at once. The measure of a night is simple — whether the first person out the door in the morning can just get in the car and go. Most mornings, they can.
