About Diewald utility services

In Red Bud the wind comes off open Randolph County ground with nothing to slow it, and snow does not so much fall here as travel. Diewald utility services works the hours before the first grain truck rolls out onto Route 154, plowing driveways and lots so a morning can start on time. Drifts get pushed back to the fence line rather than parked where the next blow will refill them, and walks are shoveled down to the surface, not to a memory of it. Salt goes where the shade holds ice longest, on the north side of a building or at the low end of a lane. By sunup the pavement is dark and quiet, and Red Bud goes about its day as though the storm had been a rumor.
