For about two weeks in April the timber along the Randolph County roads goes pink and the town's name explains itself. Country Bloomers Lawn Care Inc gets moving in that same stretch, with first mows, walks and drives edged back after the winter, and the grass cleared of everything the season pushed into it. From there the schedule holds all summer through the wheat and the corn and the heat, mowing and trimming on a set rotation. A lawn cut level, its line at the sidewalk held true, makes a house look attended to from the road. Fall closes the year out with leaf clearing and a final cut before the cold arrives.
