About Parker’s lawn care and landscaping

First light comes up the Mississippi and finds Quincy standing on its high ridge, and by then the mowers are already warm. Parker's lawn care and landscaping works the yards on that side of town, where the ground falls away toward Riverview Park and the grass grows thick on all that river damp. There is real satisfaction in a line trimmed clean along a sidewalk, in the last pass laid down before June heat starts lifting off the pavement. A yard is not finished until it looks finished, so the clippings come off the walk and the drive before anyone drives away. Around Quincy and the Adams County towns close by, that is the week's work: cutting, edging, and keeping a place looking looked-after.
