Leffers Landscape & Nursery

About Leffers Landscape & Nursery

Quincy stands high on its bluff above the Mississippi, and a fresh snowfall turns the Victorian mansions along Maine Street into something out of an old engraving. Leffers Landscape & Nursery clears that snow, plowing drives, opening lots and shoveling walks across the Gem City. Streets here drop steeply toward the riverfront, so a slick driveway is no small matter, and de-icer follows wherever the grade pitches down. Wind off the wide, ice-rimmed river carries the cold up into town, but by mid-morning the cleared pavement shows dark against all that white. With Washington Park quiet under snow and the bridges gleaming in the low winter sun, Quincy is free to head out.
