About TruRoots Landscaping LLC

The Des Plaines River bends through Proviso quietly, and the ground it left behind is dark and deep — the kind of soil a lawn will answer to if someone is paying attention. TruRoots Landscaping LLC works those flat river-bottom yards, mowing, trimming and edging until a lot reads as one green shape from the sidewalk to the back fence. Morning here comes in over the cottonwoods of the forest preserve, low and gold across wet grass, and that is when the first cut of the day gets made. Spring cleanups pull winter's litter out of the beds; fall cleanups take the leaves before they mat down and sour the turf. The pride is in the edge — that thin, deliberate line where the blade says where the lawn ends and the walk begins.
