Sanchez Snow Removal

About Sanchez Snow Removal

On a snowy night in the northwest corner of Proviso Township the sky over the rail yard glows a low orange, and the whole flat landscape sits under it half-lit, easy to work by. Sanchez Snow Removal is out in that glow with the blade down — drives cleared to the pavement, aprons cut wide at the street, walks shoveled and salted before the ice can set into the seams of the concrete. Snow that blows across open ground packs hard, so the pass has to scrape rather than skim, and the corners get cleaned by hand. Plowing, salting, walkways and steps, storm after storm from December through March. Morning proves it: a bare drive, a clear path to the door, and a household that gets on with its day. Winter here is long, and that makes the work steady.
