About Ruiz Snow Removal & Landscaping

The worst part of a Chicago-area snowfall is rarely the snow itself — it is the gray ridge the city plow leaves across the end of the driveway, dense as concrete, arriving exactly when someone needs to leave. Ruiz Snow Removal & Landscaping deals with that: drives plowed open, aprons cut back to pavement, walks and steps shoveled clear, and salt laid down before the afternoon melt turns to glass overnight. Storms here can grind on for a day or roll through in three hours, so the work is measured in return trips as much as in inches. Out toward the river the willows go stark and the cold settles in properly. A driveway opened before dawn is a small mercy, and around Prospect Heights it is a welcome one all winter long.
