Guither Tree Service

About Guither Tree Service

North of Princeton the road dips down to Big Bureau Creek and crosses on the red covered bridge, and the timber in that valley is where the town's big oaks and walnuts come from. Guither Tree Service works the wide brick main street and the farm places out along the ridges: tree trimming to lift a crown off a roof, pruning to keep a young tree headed the right way, tree removal when a hollow has run too far up the trunk. Bureau County storms come out of the west with the whole prairie for a runway, so storm damage cleanup means the drive is open, the limbs are gone and the grass is combed out before the day ends. The tree is left lighter, the walk is swept, and the yard beneath looks like a yard again. In October, with the valley turning color, that is a fine thing to leave behind you.
