D & R Lawn Care

About D & R Lawn Care

Spring reaches Potomac on the wind first: a warm afternoon in March, the fields drying, and every lawn in the village deciding at once that it is time. D & R Lawn Care meets it there, mowing the yards along the short grid of streets, edging the walks, and clearing the winter's litter of sticks and matted leaves out of the grass. Vermilion County ground is generous, which is a polite way of saying the mowing does not let up until frost. Week by week the route makes a village look tended, with even cuts, clean lines at the drives and nothing blown across the sidewalk. It is honest, repeating work, and the result is visible from anybody's front porch.
