Tailored Turf

About Tailored Turf

There is a stretch of limestone bluff above Port Byron where the trees hang on at impossible angles and the river bends out of sight toward the locks. Tailored Turf works the flatter ground below it, fitting each mowing pattern to the lot it is on — long runs where there is room, tight careful passes where a yard narrows between houses. Trimming and edging is where the shape really comes from, the crisp seam between grass and concrete that makes everything else look intentional. Early summer mornings on the river are cool and heavy with mist, and a lawn cut then holds its color all day. Every yard is a different size, and every one gets measured by eye before the first pass.
