About Branching Out, Inc.
Spring comes up the low ground along Piscasaw Creek before it ever reaches the yards in Poplar Grove, and once it does, everything moves at once. Branching Out, Inc. meets it with the season's first work, clearing what winter left behind and then mowing that starts modest in April and turns serious by the middle of May. Trimming keeps fence lines and posts from softening the shape of a lawn, and a cut border gives the walks their outline back. Boone County summers are generous to grass, which means the calendar belongs to the lawn and not the other way around. By the time the autumn cleanup comes around, a well-kept yard has had a whole good year.
