About A.L. Trost Tree Experts, LLC

Pontiac keeps its river close: the Vermilion slides past downtown beneath three swinging footbridges, and the sycamores on the banks lean out over the water the way sycamores do. A.L. Trost Tree Experts works the streets around the courthouse square and the farm places out on the county roads — tree trimming to take weight off a limb hanging over a porch, pruning that shapes a young shade tree, tree removal when a tree has outlived its place above the house. Livingston County storms arrive with a lot of open prairie behind them, so storm damage cleanup is a familiar sort of morning: cut it, haul it, comb the yard over and hand it back. What stays with you is a job invisible from the street except for the extra light on the grass. Come winter, when the leaves are down, the shape of every cut shows plain.
