Concrete Roots Snow Removal

About Concrete Roots Snow Removal

At three in the morning a clipper drops down over Plainfield out of the northwest, and for a while the plow lights are the only color moving on Route 59. Concrete Roots Snow Removal is out in it — drives opened, aprons cut back to bare pavement, walks shoveled, salt laid where the ice wants to set up. There is a particular pride in the hour when a door opens onto a driveway already clear and nobody ever heard it happen. Storms keep no office hours, so the truck keeps none either. Plainfield, with runs toward Crest Hill, Lockport and Bolingbrook.
