Aloha Lawn Care

About Aloha Lawn Care

By late August the sky west of Plainfield stacks into towers around four o'clock, and the end of a route turns into a race with the first fat drops on the windshield. Aloha Lawn Care keeps its rhythm through that heat and hurry — grass cut at a height that can take a dry week, trimming worked tight around posts and beds, edges run straight, clippings cleared off the concrete. The name suggests somewhere warmer; the work is prairie work, and it shows in how a lawn looks the morning after a storm rolls through. Come out at dusk and the cut lines are still there, holding. Plainfield yards first, with neighboring towns close behind.
