About Larrys Lawncare

There is a stretch of midsummer in Pin Oak when the cicadas start up around noon and the only cool place in the yard is under the oaks. Larrys Lawncare works right through it, mowing the sun-bleached open ground first and then the shade, where the grass stays thin and wants a lighter touch. Trimming follows all the shapes nobody laid out straight: tree rings, the propane tank, the fence that still traces an old field line. Walks and drives get blown off so the yard reads clean from the curb. Some weeks the reward is a straight line and a cold drink in the shade, and that is plenty.
