March around Pin Oak is mostly wind, and the wind leaves its work in the yard: limbs down, leaves packed into the fence corners, the lawn flattened and gray. FMS, Lawn Care starts there, clearing the ground so the first mow has something to cut instead of something to chew. From April on it settles into a weekly rhythm of mowing, trimming, edging and swept walks, right through the heavy growth of early summer. Late in the year the routine reverses itself and the leaves come off before winter can press them flat. A yard tended at both ends of the season barely has a bad month in the middle.
