About Arbor Junkies Tree Service

Pin Oak takes its name from a tree, which seems only fair in a corner of Madison County where the fence rows still run to oak and hickory and Silver Creek keeps a green seam through the fields. Arbor Junkies Tree Service works this ground between the farms and the subdivisions east of Edwardsville: pruning to keep a yard tree honest, tree trimming to clear a roofline or a driveway, tree removal when a split runs down the stem. Spring storms build fast over open country here and land hard, so storm damage cleanup is a standing part of the year — limbs cut out, brush hauled off the same day when it can be, the lawn left without a stick on it. What the crew is chasing is the shape left behind: a crown thinned enough to let the wind pass straight through. By July the shade underneath is proof enough.
