About TCB Environmental LLC

March in Peotone is water — snowmelt running the roadside ditches, field tile emptying toward the creeks, gravel shoulders soft for a week straight. TCB Environmental LLC works the edges of that calendar, clearing and plowing snow while the cold still holds, then turning to grass, cut and trimmed and edged, once the ground firms up. Flat country drains slowly, which means a lawn out here rewards patience and punishes rushing. Something about the first real cut of the year is deeply satisfying, when a yard goes from matted brown to something standing up straight again. From that first pass to the last plow of December, it is the same property, watched the whole way through.
