JIMAX

About JIMAX

Fog settles into the river bottom near Detweiller on most cold mornings, and on the right night it freezes onto everything it touches. JIMAX runs the plow route through that hour — driveways opened, sidewalks cleared, salt worked into the shaded stretches the sun won't reach until noon. Snow here arrives fast off the prairie and then hardens, so timing matters more than tonnage. Reaching a house before the first car packs the snow into ice is half the job. The other half is doing it quietly enough that the household sleeps straight through.
