About Shaffer Beautification LLC

Downtown Pekin still turns around the courthouse, and a block reads better or worse depending on who tends the strip of green out front of it. Shaffer Beautification LLC does that tending — mowing, trimming, edging and cleanup that keep a property looking looked-after from the sidewalk. Once the year goes cold the same care goes into plowing and clearing, so a place stays approachable in January instead of shut in behind a ridge of snow. The name states the aim plainly enough: leave it better than you found it, every visit. In a river town with a long winter, that is a real gift to a street.
