About Jay's Landscaping

The land above the river climbs in steps, and Pekin yards climb with it — slopes, terraces, beds cut into ground that would rather slide than stay. Jay's Landscaping works with that grade, handling landscaping and lawn care on lots where a level stretch is something you make instead of something you find. Mowing and trimming right through the season, then cleanup when the leaves come down all at once in late October. Winter shifts the work again: a blade taking the pitch of a hill seriously, drives opened top to bottom. Ground like this pays back the effort, and the finished yard looks as though it was always meant to sit that way.
