Behrlawn Mowing & Yardwork

About Behrlawn Mowing & Yardwork

At the edge of town the ground folds into ravines, and by mid-October the oaks in McNaughton Park go the color of a struck match. Behrlawn Mowing & Yardwork keeps Pekin yards through that turn — the last mowings of the season, the trimming along fence lines, the hauling off of leaves that all arrive at once after the first hard wind. When the soil locks up and snow follows, the same equipment comes back with a plow for drives and walks. It is unglamorous work with an obvious result: a yard you can cross in good shoes, a driveway open at six in the morning. That is the entire ambition, repeated week after week.
