About Affordable Construction & Lawncare

Evening comes on slow over the brick side streets east of Court Street, and the sound that carries longest is a mower finishing its last pass. Affordable Construction & Lawncare works those Pekin blocks — the deep old lots, the strip of grass between sidewalk and curb that nobody notices until it goes ragged. Mowing, trimming, edging, and the cleanup that follows: plain work, carried far enough that a yard looks like somebody decided about it. An edge cut straight enough to sight down is a small thing to be proud of, and it is worth being proud of anyway. By the time the streetlights come on across Tazewell County, the clippings are off the walk and the place is put back together.
