Easy Eddy's Tree Service

About Easy Eddy's Tree Service

The Pecatonica River takes its time, looping through timber west of Rockford and past the village that shares its name, and along it the silver maples and box elders grow fast and let go faster. Easy Eddy's Tree Service works that river ground and the farm country above it — tree removal when a leaning trunk has begun to argue with the barn, tree trimming and pruning to hold a yard tree in shape before it gets away. Fair week comes and goes, the prairie path fills with walkers, and the storms cross those flats with enough wind behind them to make storm damage cleanup an early-morning trade. Done right, the yard afterward gives nothing away: no ruts, no scatter, a clear drive and one less worry over the roof. Winter light through a well-pruned crown is worth the trouble it takes.
